Introducing SPORK, our state-of-the-art internal tool that revolutionizes the way our production cooks fabricate, produce, and assemble food delivery items. Designed to enhance efficiency and maintain our high standards of quality, SPORK ensures that every meal is meticulously prepared before reaching our high-fidelity restaurants scattered across the city.
With SPORK, we streamline our culinary operations, enabling our teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences consistently. This innovative tool is the backbone of our commitment to excellence, optimizing our food preparation processes from start to finish. Leveraging Neo4J, a service creates associations between daily tasks that lead to assembled food products around on quantities set by our forecasting engine upstream. These tasks are displayed, completed and managed by separate roles in our system to ensure our daily demand for packaged food items is met. Users can also create requisitions for raw materials in advance of assembly and print labels for transporting or storing finished goods. I conceptualized and introduced additional internal tools to assist research and development .
All features are built using TypeScript and Kotlin on Azure-based networks. Tools like Kafka, Neo4J, and Kubernetes are used to enhance efficiency and manage data streams.
My contributions include:
Released over eight heavy feature-sets in under two months with 70%-90% test coverage in core business platform.
Took initiative to create internal tools that integrated with printing hardware (Zebra) and observability tools, using d3, to aid in resolving incidents for integrated business critical applications.
Championed core UI/UX initiatives to enhance use case scenarios, with event tracking, in the absence of a team designer.
Delivered full stack requirements in Kotlin/Typescript, across an Azure based network of applications and microservices.
