Animo's Moodstream allows patrons at coffee shops to stream their favorite music on location. Servers can hassle-free stream music during their work, as our AI manages the stream with recommendations from Spotify. Users would scan a QR code to access the app and can log in with their Spotify account to play their own music. Customers who log in on location influence the stream based on their preferences.

Customers have the ability to add songs to the queue as well. However, the queue would only accept songs that match the mood set by the servers. If the user tries to add a song that doesn't match the mood, they will be prompted to try again. This application was built using Next.JS + Node.JS and is super mobile-friendly.
Servers could also manage the playback / queue, as well as access our algorithm's unique mood stations based on customer preferences using a tablet app built using React Native.
Moodstream was available at COPPA in Nomad, Flatiron, at Caffe Valencia in Brooklyn, and at Hazy Haus. Currently, this project is discontinued as we don't have the proper licensing to operate in brick & mortar establishments.
